She was born Oct. 15, 1942, in Watsonville, Calif., the daughter of George and Mary Jean Copeland Sarte. She married Robert Hibbs on Oct. 23, 1968, in Chicago. He survives.
Also surviving are one sister, Andrea Featherstone of Nolensville, Tenn.; six nephews, Phillip Fitzgerald II (and Michele), Phillip Fitzgerald III, Conley Fitzgerald, Mike Fitzgerald (and Rebecca), Sean Fitzgerald (and Tonya) and Bobby Hibbs (and Thesa); and four nieces, Michaela, Dianna Driscoll, Annette M-Fry (and David) and Toni Layne (and Frank).
She was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil “Dino” Sarte; and one sister, Mary Helen Wheeler.
She graduated in 1962 from Manteca, Calif., High School. She was a member of the Philippine American Community in Colorado. She was Interior Designer who went all over the United States including Yellowstone working as a designer. She was a fishing guide known as “Wildflower” at the Blue Mesa Reservoir in Colorado on television.
Cremation rites have been accorded with no services.
