He was born Aug. 30, 1951, the son of the late Allen Thomas Haber and Barbara June Corey Haber. He married Ruth Ann Krohe on Nov. 6, 1976, in Beardstown. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Stacy Haber (and Amy) of Arlington Heights; one daughter, Carrie Lemons (and Jeremy) of Rushville, and one son, Will Haber (and Anthony) of Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Marcia Mahood (and JB) of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Sherry Schafer of Fort Meyers, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kailin Wright, Maddy Haber, Colton Haber and Emmett Lemons; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sheryl Schnepper.
He was a semi driver delivering for Kent Feed and from 1978-2017 worked at NTN Bower in Macomb. He farmed in his spare time. He graduated in 1970 from Rushville High School. He was a member of the Appaloosa Horse Club.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Charla Meyers officiating. Burial followed at Serrot Cemetery in Rushville.
