He was born Feb. 26, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Vernon J. and Violet L. Siltman Henricks. He married Laurel Faye Roate on June 15, 1963, in Mount Sterling. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Catina Swindall (and Shea) of Wetumpka, Ala., and Jennifer Worthington (and Chase) of Rushville; one son, Michael Henricks (and Janice) of Macomb; one brother, Pete Henricks (and Carol) of Eldon, Mo.; one sister, Carolyn Jones of McCalister, Okla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He worked for Oscar Mayer in Beardstown, drove a truck for Clinard Trucking in Mount Sterling, was a cabinet maker as well as a farmer raising hogs and tending to crops.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Rushville.
A Funeral Mass was held Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church in Rushville with Father Marc Nkulu officiating. Burial was in Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
