Mrs. Julia C. Hetrick, 71, of Burlington, Iowa, formerly of Macomb and Rushville, died at her home at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1985.
Born June 12, 1914, in Table Grove to Lemard and Myrtle (Dye) McKinley, she first married Marvin E. Chockley Aug. 9, 1933. He died Oct. 5, 1954.
She married Lyman Hetrick April 14, 1972, in Rushville. He survives along with three sons, Paris Chockley of Greeleyville, S.C., Rev. Marvin Chockley of Rushville, Jim Chockley of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Crone of Live Oak, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one stepson, Robert Hetrick of North Pekin; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Katherine Bedingfield of Jacksonville, Mrs. Lila Lidgard of Metamora, Mrs. Joann Hale of Berwick; 15 stepgrandchildren; and 20 stepgreat-grandchildren.
There are also two brothers, Floyd McKinley of Rushville, Daniel McKinley of Macomb; four sisters, Ellen Ginger of Canton, Mrs. Alta Edmiston of Astoria, Mrs. Mary Keller of Table Grove, and Mrs. Alma Kapp of Wautoma, Wis., surviving.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church, Rushville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Loren Curtis officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery in Fulton County.
