Harold Herriford Dies At Age 52Harold Herriford Dies At Age 52Harold G. Herriford, 52, of Ipava, died at 10:55 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at his home. He had been in failing health for a few months.
He was born in Bernadotte on Mar. 23, 1922, a son of Ralph E. and Mabel Myers Herriford.
Surviving are his mother, of Ipava; two brothers, Lewis of Ipava and Clifford of Chillicothe; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Beaty of Canton, Mrs. Dorothy Ogden, Mrs. Wanda Lee Vance and Mrs. Clara Dell Rhodes, all of Lewistown.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Herriford was a member of the Ipava Methodist Church and the Ipava American Legion Post. He was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were scheduled for 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Steve Frantum officiating. Burial was to be in the Ipava Cemetery.
