Opal Gibble Dies Thursday

Opal Stevens Gibble, 69, of 1303 W. Main, Richmond, Ind., died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1985, at her home after suffering a heart attack.

She was born in Fayette County, and moved to Richmond from Connersville 26 years ago. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and had been employed at Hills Floral Products. Her father, Russell Stevens, and a brother, Hubert Stevens, are deceased.

Survivors include her husband, Stauffer A. Gibble; her mother, Rena Kuntz Stevens of Connersville, two nieces and one nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Connersville with burial in Dale Cemetery.

Relatives attending the services were Stauffer Gibble’s brother, three sisters, a nephew and a cousin: Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gibble and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hartman of Macomb, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dohner of Vermont, Mrs. Frances Wright and Glen of Wabash, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. John (Mary Gibble) Wilson of Dayton, Ohio.
