Blanche S. Gibble, 79, of Beardstown, died at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 1985, at Beardstown Long Term Care.
She was born Mar. 18, 1906, at Chandlerville, a daughter of James and Elda Cowan Dietsch. She married Samuel B. Gibble Aug. 28, 1924. He preceded her in death in 1963.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Gibble of Sterling and Clyde Gibble of Playa Del Ray, Calif.; three grandsons; one sister, Almeda Kepford of Ft. Myers, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents were two grandchildren and three brothers.
Mrs. Gibble was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Beardstown. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Auxiliary.
Funeral services were to be held at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at Cline’s Funeral Home in Beardstown with Rev. Ned Hawbecker of the First United Methodist Church of Beardstown officiating. Burial will be in Beardstown City Cemetery.
