Curtiss FarwellCurtiss A. Farwell, 85, of Lewistown died July 3, 2025, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born Jan. 12, 1940, in Havana, a son of Dean and Helen Richardson Farwell. On Dec. 10, 1957, he married Sharon Sue Moses in Rushville. She preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2021.

He also was preceded in death by one grandson, Joey Long; and one sister, Shirley Russell.

Surviving are one son, David Farwell of Lewistown; one daughter, Ginger (and P.J.) Long of Havana; two brothers, Regis Farwell of Florida and Randy (and Yvonne) Farwell of Peoria; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was a United States Navy Veteran.

He first worked at Caterpillar in Peoria and International Harvester in Canton. He was also a life farmer. He retired from farming in 2009 and moved to Lewistown.

He was a devoted Christian.

Services were held Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Kent Tangman officiating. Burial was in the Browning Cemetery.
