He was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Macomb, a son of Hugh and Frances Crick Farr.
Surviving are two sons, Paul (and DeYonne) Farr of Table Grove and Jamie (and Jennifer) Farr of Junction City, Kan.; one sister, Pat (and Don) Rittenhouse; two brothers, Marshall (and Susan) Farr and Dennis (and Letty) Farr; special friend, Joyce Lamanske; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brandi Rudd.
He worked in agriculture all throughout his life. He was a truck driver and managed Farr Trucking for his family. He also managed Adair Grain.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Table Grove Community Church with Mike Ulmer officiating. A visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Following the service on Saturday, burial will be in the Ipava Cemetery.
