Nelda L. Fields, 70, of 704 W. Ave. G, died at 11;35 p.m. Monday, July 1, 1985, in the Farmington Nursing Home.
She was born June 3, 1915, in Astoria, the daughter of Charles and Sylvia (Camp) Brainard. She married Raymond G. Fields Feb. 7, 1934, in Bentonville, Ark. He survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Jesse R. Fields of Galesburg, William C. Fields of San Louis Ray, Calif., Don Fields of Havana and Dale Fields of Bernadotte; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Tarvin of Bloomington and Mrs. Shirley Newborn of Canton; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Eldon Brainard of Medford, Ore.; and three sisters, Mrs. Marvel Batterton of Macomb, Mrs. Faye Slaight of Lewistown and Mrs. Rose Baugh of St. Louis, Mo.
She was a member of Jehovah Witness Congregation of Lewistown.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Henry Memorial Home, Lewistown. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
