VeteranR. L. Fitzjerrald Dies At Age 34

Randy L. Fitzjerrald, 34, of rural Huntsville died Sunday, May 19, 1985, at his home.

He was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Huntsville, a son of Alva and Charlene Ritchey Fitzjerrald. He married Alice Briggs March 11, 1972, in Rushville. She survives.

Surviving also are a son, Bryan Keith, and a daughter, Amber Lynn, both at home; his parents of Rushville; a brother, Tim of Colchester; and three sisters, Mrs. Dave (Rita) McDaniel of Lincoln, Mrs. Darwin (Gwen) Utter of Frederick and Sue Fitzjerrald of Camden.

He attended Memorial Chapel and Bethany Church. He was a farmer and was employed by Federal-Mogul Bower, Macomb. He was a graduate of Western Illinois University receiving a BS degree in education. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970-1972.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Cemetery west of Rushville with Joyce Farwell officiating. Military rites were conducted by Astoria Post 25 American Legion.
