Miss Ethel Foster Of Vermont Dies

Miss Ethel Bernice Foster, 74, of Vermont died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1975, in the Prairie City Nursing Center.

She was born in Eldorado Township, McDonough County, Dec. 5, 1900, a daughter of Charles and Alice Adams Foster.

Surviving are two brothers, Marcus of Vermont and Robert of Adair.

One sister preceded her in death.

Miss Foster had been a grade school teacher and a practical nurse. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Better Way Sunday School class of the church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Vermont with Rev. E. L. Dunavin officiating. Burial was in the Chockley Cemetery near Industry.
