Nellie Elizabeth Ebbert, 98, of Roseville, formerly of Macomb, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 1995, at LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville.
She was born Feb. 7, 1897, in Ipava, a daughter of George and Emma Weese Smith. She married Glen Ebbert on Dec. 6, 1913 in Ipava. He died June 16, 1968. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two daughters, Norma Wold of Pinetop, Ariz., and Freida Ladd of Macomb; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She worked with her husband at Ebbert’s Bakery in Colchester for several years. She was a member of Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb.
Funeral services were held Friday at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
