Fred Edwards Dies Saturday

Fred Edwards, 62, of Rushville, died at 11:24 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 1985, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.

Born Feb. 22, 1923, in Pleasant View to David Frederick and Sara Trone Edwards, he married Roma Kepler Feb. 23, 1952, in Rushville.

She survives, along with one son, David of rural Rushville; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Fuqua of Rushville and Mrs. Susan Hartl of Wheaton; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Presbyterian Church, Rushville, with Rev. Michael Orsted officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery, where military services were by Schuyler Post 4 American Legion.
