Oral L. Endres, 78, of 615 Boys St., Streator, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 1985, at Methodist Hospital, Peoria, where he was a patient for the past 10 days.
He was born Feb. 14, 1907, in Ipava, the son of Nate and Elizabeth Endres. He married Dorothy Mason March 21, 1935, in Bloomington. She died May 23, 1984.
Survivors include one son, Robert O. Endres of New York City, N.Y.; one brother, Aubrey Endres of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers.
He was an agent for Metropolitan Insurance Company, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Park Presbyterian Church in Streator. He was past president of Streator Kiwanis Club and Illinois Valley Life Underwriters.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Elias Funeral Home in Streator.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Cemetery.
