Miss Hazel Emery, 20, of Elmwood was killed and Thornley Bankert, 33, was seriously burned about the arms and face in a fire which damaged the country home of their employer Tuesday night of last week.
The owner, H. Z. Bledsoe, and his wife and teen-age son escaped uninjured.
