IPAVA — Relatives learned of the death of Harry DeVere Endres Saturday in a Peoria hospital, following a months illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nate Endres, was born in McDonough county Sept. 14, 1899 and was married Dec. 14, 1926 to Clara Ames, who survives.
Mr. Endres attended Ipava grade school and spent his early years here. He resided in Canton for many years and was employed by the Canton Works I.H.C. He was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, his mother and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Canton. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
