Ross L. Danner, 85, of Astoria, a retired farmer and sawmill operator, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 1975, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville. He had been residing at the Snyder Nursing Home in Rushville.
Mr. Danner was born Dec. 27, 1890, in Vermont, a son of Emanual and Rosetta Rudisill Danner. He married Estella Clark in Astoria on Feb. 11, 1915. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. June E. Frye, Vermont, who is the Vermont postmistress; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Astoria Cemetery with Rev. Wilbur Payne officiating.
