Mrs. Susan “Sue” Danner of Roseville, former Astoria resident, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 1975, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Oct. 25, 1898, in Okarchee, Okla., the daughter of William and Maggie Stuart Siler. She married Harry W. Danner May 1, 1915. He died Nov. 14, 1962.
Mrs. Danner is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Shirley Bollinger, Mrs. Betty Frye and Mrs. Joan Parr, all of Vermont, Mrs. Rose Davis of Astoria, and Mrs. Sylvia Wise of Roseville with whom she made her home; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Newell and Mrs. Opal Thybault of Lyons, Neb., and Mrs. Adelia Groff of Ipava; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Paul Brubeck officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
