MARY ANNE (CLARK) DUTTON

Former Astoria Resident Dies

Mary Anne (Clark) Dutton, daughter of Alanson and Sarah (Allen) Clark, was born in Fulton county, near Astoria, on Nov. 2, 1880, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alta Sailer, on Jan. 16 near Avon.

She was united in marriage to Wm. Dutton on Nov. 7, 1900 at Havana. To this union was born two children, a son Paul, who died in infancy and Mrs. Alta Sailer of near Avon.

Besides her husband and daughter and one grandson, Howard Sailer, she leaves three brothers, John Clark of Sioux City, Iowa; Charley and Harvey Clark of Canton, and a half sister, Mrs. Elwood Clark of Astoria.

Mrs. Dutton was a member of the Olive Christian church.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 from the Brand Funeral Home in Avon, with Rev. Arthur Allen Heinlein in charge. Interment was in the Holeman cemetery.
