She was born April 22, 1945, in Alexandria La., a daughter of Harry and Myrtle Rucker Lavigne.
Surviving are three sons, John Logan (and Becky Jo) Deck of Wardensville, W. Va., Joseph F. (and Eva) Deck of Rushville and Kenneth Corry Cox (and Addie Moranville) of Rushville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Tara Fulcher and Marla Langford.
She worked as an aide at Murray Elementary School in Azusa, Calif., and worked at Kerr Hardware for numerous years after moving to Rushville.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
