PATSY R. (SHORES) CURLESS

Patsy Curless

Patsy R. Curless, 64, of Astoria, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 1995, at 9:09 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center emergency room in Peoria.

She was born Jan. 28, 1931, in Havana, a daughter of Raymond Webster and Stella Ruth Griffin Shore. She married John Curless on Dec. 12, 1949, in Havana. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. L. A. (Pam) Watkins of Kingsport, Tenn., Mrs. Evan (Cheryl) Welker of Mount Carmel and Mrs. Larry (Penny) Crosetto of Astoria; two sisters, Dorla Reavis of Divernon and Peggy Walker of Springfield; and eight grandchildren.

She was a member of Astoria Church of the Brethren. She worked at Gene Lockard Photography.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Astoria Rescue Squad or her church.
