Charles E. Campbell, 76, of Macomb, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 1985 at his home.
He was born Oct. 27, 1908, in Browning, the son of Timothy E. and Jessie (Burton) Campbell. He married Faye Faler April 5, 1935, in Bushnell. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Shumaker of Bushnell; six sons, Charles E. Campbell Jr. of Havana, LaVerne and Dallas Campbell of Bushnell, James Campbell of Canton, George Campbell of Roseville, David Campbell at home; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one brother, Dallas Campbell of Mesa, Ariz.; and one sister, Mary Shanks of Bushnell.
He was a signalman for the Toledo Peoria and Western Railroad until retiring.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, with Rev. Stephen Storms officiating. Burial was in Mound Cemetery, near Bushnell.
