Leo L. Crenshaw Dies At Age 67

Leo L. Crenshaw, 67, of Jacksonville, formerly of the Bader and Browning areas, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 1985, at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.

He was born Nov. 8, 1917, in Independence, Mo., a son of Joseph and Sophia Allen Crenshaw. He married Juanita Hendricks, Dec. 16, 1940, in Bowling Green, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are five sons, Larry, Richard, Danny, Bobby and Scott, all of Jacksonville; three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Judy) Smith of Rushville, Mrs. Richard (Alice) Johnson of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Glenn (Darlene) McMurl of Jacksonville; one sister, Pauline Stevenson of of Ripley and a half-brother, Aurbrey Newman of Stover, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and three sisters.

He was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of Jacksonville.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 13, at his church with Rev. A.D. Selby officiating. Burial was in Diamond Grove Cemetery.
