VeteranWard K. Chandler Dies In Florida

Ward K. Chandler, 79, of Seminole, Fla., died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1975, at St. Petersburg, Fla.

He was born in Adair on Feb. 12, 1896, and moved to Florida 15 years ago from Macomb.

Mr. Chandler was a past commander of the American Legion Post in Table Grove, and was a member of the Table Grove Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the Mexican border conflict, World War I and World War II.

Surviving are two sons, Roderick W. Chandler of Rock Island and Leland Chandler of Fisher, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Weber of Seminole, Fla., and Mrs. Nelda Benner of Rock Island; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Blanche Jensen of Dunedin, Fla.

Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Seminole-Beach Memorial Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
