Marvin (Marv) Chambers, 55, of Good Hope died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 1975, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Fulton County, the son of Frank Edison and Emma Alta Wheeler Chambers.
He resided in Ipava during his early life and later moved to Good Hope.
On June 12, 1942, he married Opal J. Irwin at Kahoka, Mo.
Surviving are the widow; two children, Duane Chambers of Blandinsville and Mrs. Kent (Rosalind) Mosher of Lewistown; five grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Chambers and Howard Chambers, both of Smithfield. One brother, Lee Chambers, and two sisters, Stella Brooks and Mabel Braden, died previously.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Sargent Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
