Mrs. Mabel B. Campbell, 87, of the Hancock County Shelter Care Home in Augusta, formerly of Elgin and Ipava, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, April 4, 1975, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Nov. 24, 1887 in Ipava, a daughter of Alonzo and Melinda David Brock. She married Earl Campbell Jan. 10, 1933. He died in 1968.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lela Stoops of Knoxville and six nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Carl Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
