Mrs. Coene J. Carroll, 80, of 27 Exchange Ct., Canton, died at her home Saturday afternoon.
She had been a resident of Canton for 30 years and had been in ill health several years.
Mrs. Carroll was born in McDonough County April 5, 1885, the daughter of William Joseph and Mary E. Phillips Robinson.
She was first married to Ernest B. Wheeler and on Aug. 15, 1915, she was married to Charles Bert Carroll at Lewistown. He preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1951.
Surviving are a son, E. P. Wheeler of Astoria, and three sisters, Miss Leona Robinson of Rushville, Mrs. Jessie Slaight and Mrs. Maude Salisbury of Astoria.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Gerard Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde B. Friend, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
