Miss Emily Crum, former Astoria High School teacher, died Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Blessing Hospital in Quincy where she had been a patient the past few weeks.
Miss Crum was a teacher in the High School here for about fourteen years, going from here to Canton, Mo., about five years ago. While in Astoria she lived with Mrs. Grace Bloomfield. She was a frequent caller here.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Weiser Funeral Home in Carthage. Burial will be in Carthage Cemetery.
Instead of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Cancer Fund in memory of Miss Crum.
