She was born Feb. 11, 1947, in Browning, a daughter of Lloyd and Eva Hefner Mathis.
Surviving are two children, Teri Davis of Rushville and Chris (and Tina DeMoss) Jones of Astoria; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Knox; five brothers, Bob, Bill, Jim, Jake and Fred Mathis; and two sisters, Wilma Lamb and Norma Eddington.
She was a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
She was a member of the Browning Christian Church. She also attended the Astoria Christian Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, in the Browning Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Thiner officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Browning Senior Center.
