She was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Havana, a daughter of George and Mary Williams Bridges. She married Dallas “Bud” Burgett on May 19, 1957, in Havana. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2024.
She also was preceded in death by nine siblings.
Surviving are her children, Debra (and Chris) Bishop of Havana, DeEtta (and Carl) Martorana of Port Charlotte, Fla., and David (and April) Burgett of Astoria; two siblings, Vivian Towery of Havana and David Bridges of Southern Illinois; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Havana Assembly of God.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Randy Green officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
Memorials may be made in Rosemary’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
