Laura M. Blodgett, 97, of rural Rushville, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 1985, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Oct. 10, 1887, in Browning, the daughter of William and Fannie (Bowen) Carter. She married Harmon Blodgett Jan. 20, 1909, in Lewistown. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Durward H. and Homer G., both of Rushville; and two daughters, Margaret and Ada Blodgett, both of Beardstown.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She was a charter member of Schuyler Unit 4, American Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, 1985, at Roby Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayne Bonser officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery.
