Mrs. Mary K. Barsi, 73, of Macomb, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Apr. 1, 1985, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She had been ill five years.
She was born Nov. 19, 1911, in Macomb, a daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Munger) Kelly. She first married Harold Sturm. She married Florio Barsi March 2, 1940, in St. Louis. He died April 27, 1972.
Survivors include two sons, John Sturm of Edwardsburg, Mich., Florio J. Barsi Jr. of East Moline; one daughter, Mary Jane Barsi of Macomb; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one brother, Chester L. Kelly of Creston, Iowa; and one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Suzanne) Park of Table Grove.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Apr. 3 at Clugston Chapel, Macomb with Rev. Richard Pricco officiating. Burial was in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
