Miss D. Zolene Barnes, 70, of Macomb, died at 7:20 a.m. Monday, Mar. 4, 1985, in Prairie City Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Table Grove, the daughter of Henry and Bessie (Blazer) Barnes.
Her only survivors are a number of cousins.
She made her home with Esther Clark at 214 W. Piper St., Macomb, for the past 15 years.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and had formerly sold newspaper advertising.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Macomb with Rev. Richard Pricco officiating. Burial was in Bushnell Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
