Ernest Bollinger, 79, of Rural Route, Browning, died about 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 1975, while attending services at the Woodland Church of the Brethren near Astoria.
He was born near Browning on Oct. 28, 1895, a son of Lee and Sadie Dixon Bollinger. He married Velma Hayward who died in 1934. He later married Mae Kessler, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Virgil Bollinger, of Browning, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Woodland Church with Rev. Arnold Naff officiating. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery.
