Mrs. S. Frances Brown, 73, of Vermont, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 1975, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born in Rushville on Feb. 2, 1902, a daughter of Adrain and Margaret Gapen Mitchell. She married Richard O. Brown in Rushville on July 2, 1955. He survives.
She was a member of the Baptist Church of Rushville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one half sister.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. John Derry officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
