Ancle G. Burton, 72, of Browning, died Tuesday, April 1, 1975. He had been a resident of Hancock County Sheltered Care Home in Augusta the past year.
He was born March 8, 1903, in Brooklyn Township in Schuyler County, a son of Charles A. and Neva Daniels Burton. He married Emily Parks. She preceded him in death in 1969.
Surviving are a son, Carl of Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Mae Bergeson of Miami, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Bernice) Greer of Littleton and Mrs. Irvin (Cecil) Music of Augusta.
He was a retired employe of Chicago Transit Authority in Chicago.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville with Rev. Collis Trone officiating. Committal services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Chicago.
