She was born July 24, 1928, in Fulton County, a daughter of Harry and Josephine Miller Hagney. She married Albert Agee on June 20, 1953. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Siguaw, Grace Weaver and Margaret Hagney; and three brothers, Mike Hagney, Floyd Hagney and Lawrence Hagney.
Surviving are one daughter, Susan Agee of Austin, Texas; and many doting nieces and nephews in Illinois.
She was a member of Havana Church of Christ.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service was held Thursday at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana with Pastor Bill Boyce officiating. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made in Ruby’s name to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
