Milda Andernovics, 65, of Industry, died Monday, May 27, 1985, at her home.
She was born March 26, 1920, in Sigulda, Latvia, a daughter of Kiristap and Anna Redmanis. She resided in Latvia until 1944 when she moved to Germany. She came to the United States in 1952 and resided in Bethesda, Md., Chicago and Jacksonville, Ill., prior to moving to Industry in 1954.
She was a member of Macomb Country Club, McDonough County Medical Auxiliary and a former member of Auxiliary to McDonough District Hospital.
She married Dr. Budris Andernovics May 12, 1951, in Wuezburg, Germany.
Surviving are a brother and two sisters in Latvia and a sister in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Clugston Chapel in Macomb with Rev. Jerome Koch officiating. Cremation rites were accorded and interment was in Latvian Cemetery at Elka Park, N.Y.
Memorials may be made to the Macomb Trinity Lutheran Church of which she was a member.
