Mrs. Emma Mae McAdams Ash, 73, of Industry, died Sunday, May 5, 1985, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Oct. 29, 1911, in Jacksonville, a daughter of Nathaniel W. and Lucinda F. Norman Lindsey. She married Merle McAdams March 9, 1940 in New London, Mo. He died in March of 1956. She later married Charlie Ash March 16, 1960. He died May 28, 1981.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Mayme) Baum of Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Richard (Helen) Harper of Nowata, Okla.; three sons, Edward Lair of Industry, Samuel McAdams of Blandinsville and Harold McAdams of Santa Ella, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Isaac Thomas McAdams in infancy, and a sister, Goldie Buttell.
She had resided in Literberry, Astoria, Industry, Fort Madison, Iowa, for 20 years, Macomb and back to Industry in 1982.
Funeral services are to be at 2 p.m. this afternoon in the Assembly of God church in Industry with Rev. Daryle Hussey and Rev. Brandon Drysdale officiating. Burial will be at the Industry Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Industry Assembly of God Church of which she was a member.
