Dixie Fenner
She was born Oct. 24, 1952, a daughter of Richard and Hazel Robertson Danner. Surviving are four children, Troy (and Renee) Engle of Colchester, Tracy Engle and Larry Fenner, both of Bushnell, and Marty Shanks of Colchester; two brothers, Rick (and Ollie) Danner and Marty (and Wendy) Danner; one sister, Zelma (and David) Shughart; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Donald Danner. She worked in home health care for several years. She also worked as a cook for several different places, including schools, WIU and The Elms. Services were held Monday, Sept. 22, at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor David Keithley officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
