Scott “Scooter” Haney

Scott “Scooter” Haney, 52, of Astoria died at 11:05 a.m. Sept. 9, 2025, at his home.

He was born March 4, 1973, in Macomb, the son of Phillip E. “Joe” Haney Jr. and Patty Reedy. He married Tina Bollinger on July 2, 1999, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Johnathan Dean Bollinger of Summum and Jacob Alan (and Sarah Hopping) Haney of Astoria; mother, Patty Reedy Maloney of Lewistown; one sister, Mandy (and Marty) Shannon of Bushnell; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe; paternal grandparents, “Farmer” John and Ruby Haney; and his maternal grandparents, Pauline and Dean Reedy.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Vermont American Legion. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Scott Haney Memorial Fund in care of the Table Grove State Bank.
