 Larry Tippey
 Larry D. Tippey, 79, of Lewistown died Aug. 29, 2025, peacefully at his home.
He was born July 15, 1946, in Lewistown, a son of Herbert and Doris Bainter Tippey. He married Pamela Brooks Tippey-Herrick on Feb. 20, 1993, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, Kevin (and Angie) Tippey of Petersburg, Nicholas Herrick of Ozona, Fla., Amaris “Amy” Tippey (and fiancé Mike Leahy) of Collinsville and Amanda Herrick of Havana; two brothers, Scott (and Karen) Tippey of Lewistown and Randy (and Sindy) Tippey of Astoria; and two grandchildren, Jack Tippey and Nolan Leahy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a retired coal miner. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Lewistown American Legion.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and American Legion Bishop Post 1.

A meal for family and friends will follow to gather and reminisce at the Lewistown VFW at 3:30 p.m. Those attending are invited to wear casual clothing.
