Brenda Stambaugh
She was born June 14, 1965, in Macomb, the daughter of Sandra Kendrick Spangler. She married Randall Stambaugh on Sept. 3, 1983, in Vermont. He survives. Also surviving are three children, Scott (and Marissa) Stambaugh of Astoria, Donna (and David) Campbell of Vermont and Yukari Nakayama of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Brent Spangler of Vermont; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents, Eldon and Frances Kendrick. Through her lifetime, she worked at Western Illinois University, Pioneer Seed and at café’s in both Astoria and Adair. She also worked as a Dialysis Tech for several years and most recently worked at Nature’s Grace in Vermont. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rick Burgard officiating. A visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday. Brenda J. Stambaugh, 60, of Vermont died at 10:50 p.m. Aug. 13, 2025, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
