Patsy Porter
She was born March 10, 1934, in Schuyler County, a daughter of the late Roscoe Thomas Tyson and Ruth Marie Dunlap. She married Don Huston on Dec. 24, 1952. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2021. She then married Harvey Fry on June 12, 1970. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2007. Patsy married Carl Porter on Feb. 14, 2008. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2015. She also was preceded in death by three stepchildren, Harvey Fry III, Liane Scott and Sheila Lipscomb. Surviving are two sons, Kevin Huston and Dean Huston (and Terina), both of Rushville; one stepdaughter, Brenda Sonnenberg (and George); five stepsons, Charles Fry (and Linda), Fred Fry (and Pam), Wesley Porter (and Donna), Gerald Porter and Paul Porter; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Rushville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Rick Burgarg officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Messerer Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church or the Rushville Fitness and Community Center. Condolences may be sent to www.worthingtonfh.com.
