Thomas Munson
He was born July 5, 1942, a son of the late Harold Munson and Marion Stoltz Munson. He married Judith Kay Smith on Dec. 2, 1961, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are one son, Don (and Janet) Munson of Canton; one daughter, Laurie (and Donny) Garrett of Manito; one sister, Sally Pruitt of Okawville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Munson and Dave Munson. He was an electrician by trade and was a proud member of IBEW for his entire career. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Sand Prairie Cemetery in South Pekin with Matt Habberman officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements. Thomas H. Munson, 83, of Rushville died June 18, 2026, at Rushville Nursing and Rehab in Rushville.
