Gary Brush
He was born Nov. 19, 1947, in Canton, the son of Ernest and Nelda Shawgo Brush. He married Patricia Brooks on March 21, 1999, in Marietta. She survives. Also surviving are two children, Jennie Brush-Fawcett of Banner and Sandy (and Dean) Roddis of Ipava; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Parry; one sister, Linda May; and one grandchild, Erik Bucher. He graduated from Lewistown High School where he lettered in sports. He first worked for International Harvester. He later attended Tulsa Welding School and then worked for Morton Metal Craft from where he retired. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Havana. Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. A graveside inurnment will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev Sue Ann Roat officiating. Memorials may be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
