Velva Fletcher
She was born Oct. 12, 1953, in Canton. Surviving are her husband, Timothy Allen Fletcher of Havana; four children, Teri (and TT) Witherell, Michelle (and James) McClure, Mandi Hayden and Troy (and Megan) Fletcher; her mother, Faith Foster; a brother, Greg (and Wendy) Foster; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Beverly “BD” Foster; one brother, Dennis Foster; and one granddaughter, Bailie Bryant. Services were held Friday, May 29, at Hopewell Church in Snicarte for the family. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at oakshinesfuneralhome.com.
