Scott Jones
He was born Feb. 23, 1965, in Macomb, the son of Loyd “Butch” and Cindy Haber Jones. Surviving are one son, Brandon Michael Jones of Springfield; and his mother, Cindy (and Jon) Mummert of Browning. He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd “Butch” Jones. He was a 1983 graduate of Rushville High School. He would later become a carpenter and general contractor. He earned an Associates Degree from Spoon River College. Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements. Scott M. Jones, 61, of La Grange, Mo., died at 8:30 a.m. May 22, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
