Rick SavageRichard “Rick” Dean Savage, 72, of Table Grove died at 2:34 p.m. April 25, 2024, at his home.

He was born Oct. 31, 1952, in Galesburg, a son of Dale and Evelyn Bowhay Savage. He married Cris Ingalsbe on Feb. 12, 1972, in Adair. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Erin (and John) Wherley and Alicia (and David) Palm, both of Table Grove, and Derrick (and Leeanna) Savage of Bushnell; his mother, Evelyn Savage; three brothers, Bob (and Nancy) Savage, Terry Savage and Kenny (and Staci) Savage; two sisters, Kathie Savage and Cristy (and David) Ramos; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Eric Savage; his father, Dale Savage; and two brothers, Mike Savage and Jack Savage.

He was a 1970 graduate of VIT and worked for many years as a truck driver, a lifestyle he got to share with Cris as they worked as team drivers for several years.

A visitation was held Monday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Vermont Christian Church with Mike Ulmer officiating. Burial followed the services at Harris Cemetery outside of Table Grove.
